Excellent opportunity for an experienced Supervisor in retail to join our busy team in the West of Ireland. Ideal candidate will have 1-2 years Supervisory experience within FMCG/Retail environment. They will be responsible for managing a field team within the West of Ireland across some of our key brands ensure all services are carried out effectively.

Main purpose of job:

  • To performance manage, organize, and control a team of people in order to achieve overall client objectives.
  • Achieving specified coverage, targets and standards by managing the weekly roster and all leave arrangements.
  • To ensure that all merchandising/Auditing and in-store Sampling activities in allocated stores are completed in line with company standards and client KPI’s.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Completing the weekly roster and ensuring 100% call coverage at all times
  • Ensuring that all staff are at the store on time and complete the hours requested
  • Developing and maintaining satisfactory performance standards through ongoing auditing, motivation, and evaluation. Any issues with performance should be dealt with immediately and reported back to FMI.
  • Responsible for building relationships with store managers and relevant members of store staff when necessary.
  • Responsible for building relationships with our clients key Area Managers and FMI Account Manager to ensure a good working relationship, with suppliers at all times.
  • Ensuring that full stock rotation is taking place in stores, especially Dunnes has they have a zero-tolerance policy on out of date products.
  • Ensuring that all staff are performing to the correct efficiencies as per KPI’s
  • Liaising and updating Head Office personnel as and when required on any challenges within the area
  • Responsible for conducting regional recruitment and training sessions when required in the area
  • Address retraining needs as identified by field checks and audits where required
  • Responsible for the completion of specified administration tasks within the correct timescales.
  • To complete face to face audits each week to ensure that merchandisers are meeting their targets. Each store should be audited once a month or more if required.
  • Will work with a nationwide Supervisory team to deliver all services requirement across allocated campaigns in the Galway/Limerick area.
