Purpose

Leads the Material Handler team ensuring the team has the resources and tools to effectively complete their day-to-day task working with the opposite shift MH IV working closely with the area Supervisor to problem solve when required. Lead improvement projects within the area ensuring they get completed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Daily planning with Supervisor
• Back up support for Supervisor
• Training versatility owner
• IED error resolution working with MES and BPL
• Coordinate cycle counts
• Core metrics owner
• Provides cover for MH II when required
• Provide support production units when required
• Provides support with troubleshooting issues within the area

• Transfer material from SAP to MES
• Ensure FIFO is being followed in the area
• Notify production of expiring material
• Monitor interplants shipments
• Own Continuous Improvements
• Monitor IQS for BMRAM pm closures
• Report issues and challenges
• Audit readiness
• Ensure correct storage of all material.

Qualification and Experience:

• Leaving Certificate qualification or Fetac Level 5
• SAP experience desirable.
• Experience leading a team or projects desirable.
