The Role & What You Will Be Doing

• Manage purchasing change control and quality records.

• Maintain records to facilitate the supplier approval process and supplier monitoring process.

• Maintain raw material inventory levels in line with production requirements.

• Assist in sourcing potential new suppliers for alternate/dual supply.

• Manage/assist/support trials of new materials.

• Build relationships with suppliers and freight partners.

• Maintain and analyse purchasing metrics to optimize inventory levels.

• Create and maintain reports in Excel for finance and other departments.

• Participating in meetings with suppliers together with Procurement Manager for price negotiations/contractual aspects.

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Excel & Word essential.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Good problem solving and critical thinking skills.
