We are seeking an operationally focused Finance Manager to join our international Finance team. Reporting to the EMEA Director Finance Shared Services, the successful candidate will lead elements of the Financial Reporting Function with the EMEA Shared Services team at our new Centre of Excellence (COE) in Galway Ireland.

As our EMEA Finance Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by:
Supporting the development of the Financial Reporting Shared Service team in Galway Ireland, building an effective partnership with all other finance and business functions.
Setting and managing the execution of departmental goals, metrics, and objectives, based upon overall corporate initiatives.
Areas of responsibility will include Record to Report, including statutory reporting.
Financial & Management reporting
Being responsible for delivering full monthly management accounts spanning a portfolio of countries, to strict deadlines.
Managing full Trial Balance and maintain monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations for multiple entities.
Statutory compliance, Taxation and & reporting
Continuous review of the regional legislative environment to ensure the financial/tax aspects are in order and assist non-finance departments in their compliance requirements.
Full responsibility for ensuring entities are aligned with local legislative requirements, i.e., Financial Statements, tax returns, etc.
Liaising with local financial/taxation advisors as required.
Relationships
Developing proven relationships with all finance functions as well as the non- finance departments.
Customer Service
Building and maintaining a strong customer centric culture within the financial reporting team.
Delivering SLAs/KPIs and improving efficiency of the operations each year.
Providing process oversight and support to the Business Areas to enable them to meet internal reporting requirements in a timely manner.
Process & Systems
Working as part of a global team, supporting continuous improvement in the Shared Services team, to create an environment that strives for global consistency of best practices, identified both internally and externally to the organization.
This includes standardization of processes and practices across the department and implementation of new systems.
Ensuring processes are robust and compliant with HID standard.
Integration of new entities into EMEA Finance Shared Services
What we will love about your background:
5+ years of financial management experience in a multinational public corporation.
Performance management and team development experience.
Very good knowledge of processes within SSC and an understanding of continuous improvement methodology.

Your Experience and Education include:
Relevant professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting preferred)
Recognized professional accounting qualification.
Excellent English, both verbal and in written.
Experience of Oracle or similar ERP.
Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of tools.
Strong team player who thrives in working both cross functionally and globally.
Ability to simplify complex issues.
Energetic and analytical with a positive approach to problem solving.
Ability to translate data into actionable information.
Aptitude for adapting and performing in a constantly changing environment.
Strong presentation skills including previous experience presenting to senior executives.
