As our Production Lead, you’ll support HID’s success by:
Complying with SOPs and work instructions related to job function.
Acting as subject matter expert for all operational processes and procedures.
Being held accountable to performance standards to ensure output positively contributes to area specific KPIs (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost).
Participating in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
Working collaboratively with peers and internal customers.
Having the ability to interpret, train individuals of production work instructions.
Setting up and operating a variety of automatic and semi-automatic machines.
Conducting manual production operations as required.
Performing daily 5s and PM of equipment and surrounding areas as required.
Verifying BOMs, programming requirements, product types, artwork and markings.
Contributing to the culture of continuous improvement by looking for and communicating opportunities to improve performance.
Proactively logging and escalating potential issues in order to minimize safety, quality, delivery issues and / or operational inefficiencies.
Training employees on work instructions, new products, and processes.
Participating in root cause, corrective / preventive action activities as required.
Understanding workload for the day and defining the shift hours based on demand.
Ensuring all Machine Operators have the right material and paperwork for them to perform their job correctly.
Ensuring Order Management process is executed correctly in order to achieve the daily Delivery/Efficiency targets.
Being the point of contact in between production and support areas to resolve day-to-day operational issues.
Having the ability to perform and train employees on customer return, repair, and loan products.
What we will love about your background:
Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.
Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
Familiar and able to navigate Oracle, RPS, IFS, and other production systems.
Your Experience and Education include:
Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience.
Preferred to have a high school diploma, or equivalent.
Bachelors Degree
