Job Summary

Enable the Public Cloud Services organization to gain key insights into its business with business intelligence and analytics to support fast growth. The capabilities include metrics, KPI (Key Performance Indicator) design, and cloud business analytics to measure the effectiveness of the GTM (Go to Market) strategy, sales performance, and customer adoption. The ideal candidate can effectively and rapidly develop useful insights, socialize key metrics, align with business leaders, collaborate with cross-functional resources, and effectively communicate results to leadership. The candidate is expected to work on analyses, transform them into effective visualizations, build and maintain Tableau or equivalent implementations, and deliver key insights monthly. Predictive analytics tools are encouraged and highly desired.

• Analyze complex data sets for key insights.
• Build the most effective and usable visualizations that are actionable to help implement opportunities to grow the business and reduce churn.
• Keep existing analyses and visualizations current.
• Deliver on new insights to leadership monthly.
• Integrate and blend multiple data sources to enable fast-performing visualizations.
• Deliver sufficient detail for KPIs to enable business decisions
• Automate and streamline metrics generation and report development
• Implement ad-hoc requests on a priority, yet timely, basis.
• Clearly articulate findings to leadership and suggest ways to improve overall business or identify gaps that need to be addressed
• Document all assumptions, definitions, and formulas used that are key to the analysis.
• Socialize metrics and KPIs with key organizations to enable adoption.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and internally to leverage insights from other functions
• Listen carefully to changing business needs and adjust accordingly

• Expert analyst in the cloud and SaaS business  
• Expert Business Intelligence technologist
• Excellent ability to work with people, communicate effectively, and work remotely
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize and work independently
• Passionate about this job, always willing to learn new skills, and eager to innovate
• Able to dig deep, peel back layers of data to find potential root causes within the data.
• Identify trends in the data.
• You love making things more efficient.
• Background in Data Science highly desired
• Bachelor or Master's degree in relevant discipline from a reputable university or department

Education

IC - Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience.

Critical Skills

• Spreadsheet expertise is a basic requirement
• Certification in Tableau Desktop Certified Professional, or equivalent
• Working knowledge of statistical tools, such as MiniTab or R
• Data Science and AI (Artificial Intelligence) expertise desirable
• SQL and Python proficiency
• Intermediate to advanced modern language programming skills
• Ability to deliver reliably exclusively high-quality work according to given deadlines
