About the Role

  • We are looking to recruit Brewers of Distinction to join our dedicated Brewing organisation at our world-famous Guinness Brewery at Saint James’s Gate, Dublin.
  • As a Brewer you will combine your scientific/engineering knowledge and experience with the art of Brewing to ensure that brewing conditions are consistently ideal. This will involve some in-depth scientific analysis at specific points in the production process.
  • You’ll also ensure that the highest levels of quality are maintained throughout our brewing process and in accordance with world class manufacturing standards.
  • This is a great opportunity to create an impact by collaborating with the Brewery team and channelling imagination and energy into finding opportunities , developing solutions and building positive relationships with all team members.
  • Onsite training will be provided.
  • Shift Patter is 7am to 7pm x 2 days, followed by 7pm – 7am x Nights followed by 6 days off.

About You

  • We’re looking for someone with proven leadership experience, who is a strong communicator, has strong problem-solving capability, who wants to make a positive difference, and who is proud of their work standards and process ownership.
  • We’re looking for someone who has experience of production operations in a quality driven process industry with demanding production, efficiency and financial targets.
  • It would be advantageous if you could demonstrate understanding of beverage production processes in a process led environment, as well as experience of quality, safety & environmental systems.
  • The ideal candidate will have scientific and/or engineering qualification or relevant experience.
