As the Senior Cloud Engineer you will part of the Cloud Capability Team that supports our analytic customers in Azure Public Cloud. You will help design, build and support our customers as they begin to migrate their workload into Azure as well as supporting the teams that continue to user Kubernetes and docker platforms on premise.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Build and support the implementation of Azure Cloud Services
• Resolve issues and provide technical assistance on our Cloud analytic platforms within agreed customer SLA.
• Implement monitoring and alerting across the cloud platform.
• Collaborate with the team to build standard operational patterns.
• Optimize Azure buildouts for cost/performance.
• Develop and implement changes using Infrastructure as Code.
• Identify, document and promote best practices for IT infrastructure operations and lead continuous improvement initiatives to drive higher efficiency and performance of the IT Infra services

Required Qualifications:

• Experience of managing public/private cloud technologies in a large-scale enterprise environment. (Azure preferred)
• Significant experience in Cloud operations supporting large scale environments.
• Strong group communication and working across diverse areas of expertise
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement high quality solutions.
• IaaC experience using Terraform.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure Administration Certification
• Previous experience with Agile/SCRUM methodology/best practices
• Previous experience and successful track-record of learning new tools and technologies and leveraging these on integration and implementation projects
• Experience using Unix Servers.
• Good understanding of networking concepts, load balancers & firewalls.
