Brampton are an
upmarket nursing home based centrally within the town of Oranmore along the
main street and only a 5-minute walk from Oranmore Castle. Currently, we are
going through a series of thrilling developments and expansions and it is the
perfect time to get involved.



Reporting to
the Financial Controller, the Accounting Technician will be responsible for
working with the accounting team to oversee the development of accounting
practices.

Responsibilities:




  • Oversee the accounts
    payable process

  • Oversee the accounts
    receivable process

  • Bank and credit card
    reconciliations

  • Prepare monthly debtors
    & creditors reconciliation as well as setting up payments

  • Assisting the Financial
    Accountant with month end accounts

  • Book-keeping and payroll
    calculations

  • Documentation control
    within the department including processing of all purchasing documentation

  • Liaising with company
    suppliers

  • Liaising with residents

  • Responsible for the
    creation of Purchase Orders as assigned

  • Reviewing purchases again
    Purchase Orders

  • Ad hoc administration
    tasks



Qualification/Experience/Competencies:




  • 2-3 years’ experience in
    a similar role

  • Experience working in a
    nursing home is desirable

  • Experience in purchasing
    is desirable

  • Strong excel and systems
    skills

  • Experience working with
    payroll software

  • Ability to action urgent
    tasks with strong attention to detail

  • Proactive and
    self-motivated individual, focused on improving processes and driving
    efficiencies

  • Excellent communication
    skills and organisational skills
