Your
Role:



As a Risk Administrator, you will be
responsible for supporting the Governance & Risk Reporting team and wider
Operational & IT Risk function. Your role will
involve supporting your colleagues and overseeing many of the administrative
duties in the function, including: team meeting preparation; mailbox
management; tracking of budget spend; new joiner induction; and maintaining
accurate function records (e.g. Target Operating Model).



 



This is an administrative role which will provide an excellent
grounding for candidates seeking to



develop a career in Risk.



 



Your Team:



You will work within a new Governance & Risk Reporting team as a
member of the existing Operational & IT Risk function. This function is a
key component of the Second Line of Defence and is responsible for the ongoing
assessment and monitoring of Operational and IT risks across the Bank.



 



Your Responsibilities:




  • Support line management in
    establishing and developing a new Governance & Risk Reporting team
    which will be responsible for managing and supporting a number of the
    function’s key activities.

  • Support your colleagues and
    oversee many of the administrative duties in the function, including: team
    meeting preparation; mailbox management; tracking of budget spend; new
    joiner induction; and maintaining accurate function records (e.g. Target
    Operating Model).

  • Interact and
    engage with a variety of business areas in a collaborative and professional
    manner

  • Assist in the preparation of
    high-quality reports and Management Information (MI).

  • Work with and support other
    teams within the function to facilitate upskilling and rotation of duties.

  • Be highly motivated, work to
    a high standard and demonstrate initiative in seeking opportunities for
    continued professional and personal development.


 



Requirements:



Essential




  • One to two years’ experience
    of operating in a similar or related role.

  • Ability to organise and
    prioritise workloads appropriately and show determination and flexibility
    to deliver to challenging timelines.

  • A high level of attention to
    detail.

  • Good communication (both
    written and verbal) and relationship management skills.

  • Proficient with MS Office –
    particularly Word and Excel.



 



Desired




  • Understanding of governance,
    risk management and risk assessment and control practices within Financial
    Services, while not essential, would be advantageous.
