The Role
Central Risk Operations Executive is for somebody with the ability to think clearly under pressure and work precisely in an exciting, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must have a passion for learning about this area of our business, a curious mindset and the drive to achieve set targets. The successful candidate will be tasked with a range of operational responsibilities aligned to offering a first-class sports betting experience for our Sportsbook customers. Furthermore, this placement will provide the chance to learn basic Risk Management techniques and thus gain some insight into the dynamic world of live trading.

What You'll be Doing

Problem Solving
No two days are the same in our department, so we love people who are always thinking on their feet. Whether it's discovering new automated solutions, liaising with third party providers, reacting to unplanned events or collaborating with others such as Compliance, Content and Product teams who are based across the globe to achieve common goals. Using your mathematical, strategic and sports knowledge to provide the best solutions.

Data analysis approach

As a Risk Op you'll need to monitor bets being placed on a range of sporting events and work closely with Trading teams to adjust the odds offered based on this action and other information available to you.
Our in-house models and data feeds mean that the odds offered during sporting events are calculated automatically. Our Risk Ops add value by detecting when these odds need to be nudged in one direction through interpreting patterns in customer activity and data. Strong attention to detail and an inquisitive mind are a must.

Operational Excellence
The first-rate production, administration and monitoring of our betting markets is essential for offering the industry-leading service we crave for. If you have the necessary attention to detail, a strong focus on CX, together with a robust and organised workload-management style, with the potential to set the right example to others, then this role could kickstart your career in the betting industry.

What We're Looking for

• Are you a good team player with a proactive and can-do attitude? – experience and ability to work well within a high performing team
• Do you have a good knowledge of sports? This would be a great advantage but not essential
• Do you possess good computer Skills? - proficient level of Microsoft Excel needed
• A degree in a related field would be preferred such as Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics or a Sports related qualification
• Do you have strong mathematic skills and/or statistical skills? This would be an advantage but not essential
• Diligence, accompanied by a willingness to embrace a high-performance culture
• Do you have the drive to succeed, push boundaries and exhibit core company values and behaviours?
