The Data Analyst will be responsible for development, support and maintenance of Business Intelligent systems and implementation and roll out of business systems in the Contact Lens and Pharmaceutical Plants in Waterford.
Duties:
•Lead Business Improvement Projects, identify opportunities, and lead or support implementation
•Proficiency in extracting and manipulating large data sets with SQL in MS SQL.
•Develop queries and visualizations for ad-hoc requests and projects, as well as ongoing reporting utilising advanced Excel, VBA, Advanced Pivot and Power BI
•Able to work with stakeholders from multiple departments to understand business and technical requirements.
•Ability to develop Python code to run on Raspberry Pi OS for various applications throughout the plant
•Able to identify and communicate issues/risks applying technical and root cause analysis skills.
•Strong decision making, problem solving, and analytical skills.
•Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and reasoning skills.
•Creativity and ability to think outside-the-box while defining sound and practical solutions.
Requirements
•Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Proficiency,
•Experience with Database and Cloud Storage data extraction
•.NET/C#/Python proficient
•Third level qualification; BSC in IT, Computer Science or relevant Engineering discipline
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Experience working within a manufacturing IT/Engineering environment
