What
YOU Will Do

The methods engineer is involved in
the overall construction process, providing technical support to the estimation
team in the bid process and to the production team upon project start-up and
throughout the execution phase of the work.

• Work in close
  collaboration with the estimation team to establish the schedule and
  methods;


• Design, handle, and
  review the approval of special equipment and special tools in relation to
  construction methods;


• Analyze various
  plans and specs;


• Draw up the list of
  project requirements with regard to temporary equipment and structures;


• Assemble the
  preliminary work schedule;


• Develop manpower
  curves relating to the schedule;


• Participate in the
  transfer meeting with the production team;


• Confirm and
  finalize construction methods with the construction department;


• Produce various
  documents, such as construction site installation plans as well as
  project-specific plans;


• Design temporary
  structures—formwork, envelope, access, etc.;


• Sign and seal
  construction plans;


• Provide technical
  support to the production team on construction sites.

What YOU Will Bring

• Bachelor’s degree
  in civil engineering or in construction engineering;


• Certified
  Professional Engineer is an asset;


• At least 10 years
  of experience in a similar role;


• Proficiency in
  Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, Civil 3D, Advance Design America,
  Revit software;


• Excellent command
  of the English language, verbal and written;


• Bilingualism in French and
  English is required in our Quebec provinces only;


• Exceptional
  analytical skills and sound technical knowledge;


• Ability to exercise
  initiative and promote the quest for results.
