What is the role.

You will work with a team of SWIFT Specialists in Payments & Cards Services managing Business Configuration of Payments Engines, Sanctions Screening tools, and the Bank's SWIFT infrastructure. You will provide expertise and knowledge working closely with teams in IT, Group Change and the broader Business. Due to the critical nature of the systems involved, this role is primarily office-based

Key Accountabilities

  • Operate the Email Mailbox to provide excellent customer service to our Internal Customers
  • Update systems with Static Changes on request
  • Incident Management
  • Management of Small Change Requests; from solution to testing and delivery
  • Manage UAM for SafeWatch and SWIFT systems
  • Provide SME support to the Business and IT for ongoing Change Programmes

This job can be done anywhere in Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Dublin to which travel will be required for in person collaboration. Exact frequency to be agreed with manager.

Essential Qualifications

  • Leaving Certificate - minimum of 5 passes (grade D or above) at Ordinary Level, which must include English and Maths, or equivalent or superseding qualification

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong numerical, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Proven experience of working with Excel, Visual Basic, or Databases
  • Problem identification and remediation focussed
  • Good clear communicator
  • Ability to operate under pressure
  • A structured and organized approach to work
  • Good at taking ownership of tasks/issues and treating these to completion
  • Ability to build productive working relationships with others
  • Open attitude to change
  • Strong approach to Risk and Controls
  • Experience of Payments or Financial Messaging
  • Knowledge of Business Analytics

Desirable Qualifications, Skills & Experience.

Minimum of Fetac Level 7 Ordinary degree in Banking Operations or equivalent additional experience
