Meissner
As a member of the Global Finance & Accounting (“GFA”) team the EMEA Pricing Analyst will be
responsible for modeling and determining pricing for Meissner’s product offerings and services
while providing key insights used in strategic decisions amidst a high growth environment. The
Pricing Analyst will work closely with Meissner’s Finance Manager and Commercial Manager in the
Commercial Finance functions including pricing strategy, global key account reviews, customer
intel management, peer benchmark analysis, market research, and other strategic initiatives, while
additionally partnering with other cross-departmental functions in support of the broader
organization.
The Pricing Analyst will play an integral role in the growth and oversight of key GFA processes,
principles, and performance in a rapidly growing multinational organization comprised of
manufacturing sites and office locations.
Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for handling requests from Inside Sales, Sales, Engineering, Customer
Service and distributors to provide product pricing and guidance on related commercial
inquiries including but not limited to Payment Terms, Incoterms, and Quote Validity
periods.
Maintain and update pricing models and other strategic tools used by GFA to analyze
costs, compute profitability, review historical order volume, and assess market conditions
(via economic indices) to determine appropriate price.
Engage with management and key stakeholders to collect information needed for accurate
forecasting and continuous process improvement.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of our products and services, including their
features, functionalities, and value propositions.
Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales teams to stay informed
about new product developments, enhancements, and customer sentiment.
Support the Commercial Finance Team in conducting market research and industry
analysis pertaining to pricing strategy, geographical implications, peer benchmarking,
customer segmentation, and pre-to-post sale analysis.
Analyze annual and quarterly financial statements and reports () on customers and sector
peers to gather and share insights.
Perform analysis for portfolio reviews by showcasing the pricing strategy, profitability, and
complexity of products sold to customers while working with sales and engineering teams
in identifying strengths and opportunities for improvement for future orders.
Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of operational and financial data, including
variance and trend analysis, with the ability to interpret performance and provide strategic
insights across the organization.
Prepare content and support Commercial Finance processes and procedures related to
internal business reviews, updates, and analyses (i.e., variance/trend analysis and
MD&A’s) to be presented and delivered to internal and external stakeholders.
Build strong partnerships with various departments to understand key business drivers and
needs, obtain accurate and meaningful data to support quality inputs and analysis, and
support GFA’s mission to be a trusted partner and advisor to its cross-functional partners.
Assist with due diligence and risk assessment of customers and suppliers using
proprietary tools and data sources to support purchasing and credit policy decisions.
Transfer Pricing - Enforce governance of existing Transfer Price policies to ensure
intercompany purchase orders are appropriately structured.
Perform ad hoc support and analysis for executives as required.

Must have a bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or other related degree
from an accredited university.
The ideal candidate will have a 1+ plus years of experience in financial modeling,
analysis, and/or planning with the ability to collaborate effectively, support data-driven
decision-making, and think critically.
Prior experience in pricing in the biopharmaceutical or similar industry.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact cross-functionally with all levels of
management and across all geographies.

Occasional work may be done in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom environment. Powder free gloves, face
masks, hairnets, gowns, and shoe covers must be worn. Because smokers continue to shed
thousands of smoke particles even hours after smoking a cigarette and these particles will damage
our products, only non-smokers are permitted to enter or work in the cleanroom. As a result, the
successful candidate must be a nonsmoker.
