How you will spend your day:

The Software Development Technical Lead is responsible for the overall design and implementation across our application suite, ensuring the delivery from the agile team adheres to architecture and development guidelines. The Development Technical Lead will be an advocate for DevOps practices with a strong focus on delivery. They will use their experience in leading software teams to mentor software engineers of all levels and help grow skillsets and capabilities within the team.

Essential Skills and Experience:

Soft Skills:

• Demonstrate an aptitude for system design, and an ability to clearly articulate design choices.
• Possess and articulate their personal decision-making process around software delivery activities.
• An excellent communicator and facilitator with an ability to bring all team members into conversations.

Technical Skills:

• Excellent .net development skills with .Net Framework and .net core using C#.
• Experience developing API based services and customer-facing Web applications from design through to successful operation in Production.
• Strong database design, development, and troubleshooting skills with relational and No SQL databases.
• Strong testing skills and awareness of best practice industry techniques in relation to unit testing, mocking, load, and performance testing.
• Ability to create and maintain concise, accurate, and accessible technical documentation.
• Actively conduct code reviews and mentor colleagues to raise the bar for code standards and best practices

Experience with the following is an advantage:

• Azure Cloud Platform
  • Azure Dev Ops - Source Control (TFS/Git), Build and Release Pipelines
  • PAAS and IAAS offerings - App Services, Azure SQL DB, VM Scale Sets
• Automated Regression Testing Frameworks
• Setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
