Main Purpose:

To Deliver Oil Products to service stations, homes and businesses in a safe and timely manner.

To be the face of Corrib Oil, who can both retain and attract new business and pass on new leads to Sales/Operations Manager wherever possible  

Principal Duties:

1.    Deliver Corrib Oil products and services on a daily basis as per scheduled requirements

2.    Maintain regular contact with depot so as they are aware of where you are in relation to your daily schedule

3.    As the face of Corrib Oil you must provide excellent customer service at all times, including maintaining regular contact with the customer should you be late with, or unable to make a delivery.

4.    Must have the ability to sell Corrib Oil products to new and existing customers, ensuring that there is ongoing and repeat business

5.    Ensure that all Corrib Oil vehicles are in a clean and safe condition, reporting any defects to the Transport Manager as soon as they are noticed.

6.    Reporting any accidents or incidents immediately to their manager, including damage to both customer and company property.

7.    Wear the correct and appropriate uniform at all times

8.    Wear the correct safety equipment at all times

9.    The job holder must be prepared to work additional hours if required in order that the needs of the customer are met

10.  Must be willing and available to work in other areas, particularly during busy periods and holiday time

11.  Ensure that your mobile phones are diverted to another contact within the business in the event of being on leave or absent.

Experience/Skills/Qualifications:

1.    HazChem Qualification Essential but training provided

2.    Must be customer friendly

3.    Must be in possession of a relevant HGV license for either Rigid or Artic Lorries.

4.    Able to use own initiative in generating sales

5.    Must have good knowledge of the area of working and be able to pick up different routes quickly
