About the Role



Lead the
Services & Solutions operational delivery teams, including field-based
teams delivering retrofit, heating, and solar installations



Resource,
budgeting, and capacity planning to ensure annual growth targets are met



Ensure
appropriate business intelligence, reporting, insights and improvement plans
are in place to deliver exceptional service and meet all field SLAs



Ensure
coordination of all day-to-day activities both on and off-site and work with
Field Support for all supply chain activities covering materials, parts, and
relationships with all logistical partners and distribution centres and all key
third parties with whom we contract to deliver services



Quality
control – ensuring compliance with all obligations, regulations and safety
standards set both externally, across industry and within Centrica



Internal
collaboration with commercial teams around forecasts and planning



Develop
and manage departmental budget with a strong commercial focus on capacity and
supporting customer demand to optimise our cost per customer across the
portfolio. Controls and levers in place to drive optimisation, efficiency,
colleague effectiveness, revenue generation, materials



Hire,
develop coaching and performance management capabilities and train talent in
the organisation



Responsible
for driving a Safety-First culture and ensuring all activities completed are
done so within safety guidelines and adhering to technical operating
procedures, striving to build the safest technical workforce in the industry.
Consistent delivery of technical standards and process in an environment that
fosters continuous improvement and root cause investigation



Responsible
for delivery of our net zero customer experience strategy, ensuring appropriate
reporting and insight to deliver best in class customer experience, to maximise
customer retention and cross-selling opportunities as we deliver a One Stop
Shop service



Development
and implementation of processes and procedures to promote operational
excellence and customer satisfaction while ensuring operational KPIs and goals
are met



Strategic
development: drive a culture of strategic agility to adapt our delivery model
to the needs of the local market with strategies to grow services across
different regions



 



About You 



You must
have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar environment preferably with
knowledge of the construction industry and a bachelor’s degree in a related
field (engineering or business). Experience managing in a large operation or
production environment is essential. In addition, you must demonstrate:

working within a matrix organisation and shaping the future team and resources
to support the wider Bord Gáis Energy and Centrica strategic pipeline of
initiatives



Comprehensive
knowledge and expertise in areas described above



Ability
to analyse problems and develop appropriate solutions



Strong
interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate up and down,
including senior stakeholders across Centrica



Ability
to establish key business priorities



Evidence
of delivering business outcomes aligned with financial goals including revenue
growth, operating cost reduction and containment



Strong leadership and communication
skills with excellent people management and coaching skills. Valued by senior
business sponsor and respected by peers.



Must have demonstrable experience in
the leadership at a senior level



Strong analytical skills with
attention to detail with the ability to anticipate and mitigate risk using
formal risk and project management techniques.



Comfortable with ambiguity and
leading others through a changing landscape with shifting priorities, while
maintaining a clear focus on priority issues



Ability to define problems
effectively, devise and evaluate alternatives and agree the most viable
solutions to address business needs and concerns.
