Charles Hughes Ltd. (Portwest), a leading manufacturer of outdoor clothing and supplier of Portwest workwear, safety wear and PPE are now seeking applications for the position of Accounts Receivable Administrator to cover Maternity leave for our office in Westport, Co. Mayo. Portwest is one of the fastest growing workwear companies in the world currently employing over 5,300 staff worldwide, with customer service staff in over 160 countries. Portwest design, manufacture and distribute market leading outdoor clothing and workwear, safety wear and PPE. Charles Hughes Ltd. is a subsidiary of Portwest and manages the Irish retail and distribution channels of Portwest supplying over 1000 customers in Ireland and employing 100 people in Ireland.


While this is a fixed term contract as a growing business we expect there will be opportunities for a permanent contract in the future.

 


 Among your duties and responsibilities include:


  • Allocation of cash receipts
  • Processing Invoices & credit notes
  • Resolving debtor account queries
  • Processing new debtor account applications
  • Corresponding with customers and sales team  
  • General administration
  • Ad hoc duties as necessary

 SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

To become the Accounts Receivable Administrator you will need:

  • Relevant Qualification in Business Studies/Accounting
  • 1 years + general accounts experience
  • Ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong communications skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
