Production Equipment Europe is a leading industrial distributor supplying over 90,000 products and deploying innovative solutions to blue chip customers worldwide. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Print & Design Specialist to work within our Galway location supporting many global customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong graphic portfolio, embrace technology and be able to work across multiple platforms. The candidate should be ready for varied tasks, team collaboration, tight deadlines, a high-volume workload and working with an outstanding and passionate team. The candidate will work in a busy workshop / manufacturing environment and a key part of this role is carrying out practical production and related activities within the workshop environment.

Responsibilities:

• Work in a busy workshop / manufacturing environment
• Maintain a high level of quality control, artwork accuracy, print quality and efficiency
• Graphic design and concept execution for print, web and multimedia
• Successfully interpret and / or prepare client ideas, to final product
• Preparation of files for wide format Digital printing machines and plotters
• Regular operation of wide format printers, vinyl cutters and laminators
• Work as part of a team and will be required to produce high quality finished products
• Assist in sign manufacture and assembly when required in accordance with customer requirements
• Other ad hoc duties as required

Skills & Experience:

• Competent in Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign (PC operating System) a distinct advantage
• Knowledge and experience of wide format printing desirable
• Good attention to detail and high concentration level
• Must be confident, reliable and motivated
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and take instruction
• Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ideally 1- or 2-years relevant experience
