ABEC
As an ABEC Electrician you will apply electrical theory and related knowledge to testing, building and modifying various types of electrical equipment and components by reading and interpreting drawings.
Responsibilities:
· Provide guidance/direction to other electricians
· Provide leadership in achieving company goals
· Conduct administrative functions as required.
· Participate in Project Team meetings
· Work from plans, sketches, blueprints, work orders or other instructions; interpret electrical plans and specifications; check for compliance with codes
· Clean, test, troubleshoot and repair high voltage equipment as necessary.
· Receive components and confirm against drawing and/or list of materials or quality standards.
· Solder and or fit/or assemble components.
· Fabricate specialty parts.
· Recommend improvements.
· Follows all safety rules and policies.
· Inspect fabrications for quality, safety and operation as requested.
· Audit equipment against drawings as requested.
· Prepare equipment for shipment.
· Fabricate specialty parts
· Execute other tasks as assigned
· Ability to travel when required
Qualifications:
· Senior Trade Electrical Craft Certificate (Level 6)
· Highly skilled electrical and instrumentation disciplines with some knowledge of mechanical
· Experience in Electrical systems
· Excellent analytical and communication skills.
· Typical work is in a manufacturing environment or customer’s site
