Role Overview:
As Centre Manager (Person in Charge/Operations Manager), you will lead and manage a residential service in line with HIQA/MHC regulations, delivering person-centred, high-quality support. You’ll oversee care planning, team management, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for service users.

Responsibilities:

Lead the day-to-day management of the centre

Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and standards (HIQA/MHC)

Supervise and support staff, including clinical and administrative teams

Coordinate personalised care plans and service delivery

Liaise with families, advocates, and external agencies

Maintain high standards in health, safety, infection control, and GDPR compliance

Report to Area Director of Operations and work within the wider operational structure

Requirements:

Level 7/8 Degree in Social Studies or similar, with a healthcare management qualification

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar managerial role

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Proven experience working with individuals with complex support needs

Full clean driver’s licence required
