Salary: €50,000 – €60,000 DOE

 

The Role

As Centre Manager, you will lead and manage a residential service in line with HIQA/MHC regulations, delivering person-centered, high-quality support. You’ll oversee care planning, team management, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for Residents and Service users.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

·       Lead the day-to-day management of the centre, including Rosters, Centre Budgets & daily/weekly Compliance checklists

·       Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and standards (HIQA/MHC)

·       Supervise and support staff, including clinical and administrative teams

·       Coordinate personalised care plans and service delivery

·       Liaise with families, advocates, and external agencies

·       Maintain high standards in health, safety, infection control, and GDPR compliance

·       Report to the Regional Manager and work within the wider operational structure

Essential Requirements

 

We are seeking motivated, compassionate, and professional Social Care Workers who are committed to delivering high-quality residential care.

The ideal candidate will have:

 

·       A recognised Level 7/8 Degree in Social Studies or similar, with a healthcare management qualification

·       CORU Registration or proof of active CORU application

·       Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar managerial role

·       Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

·       Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to plan, document, and report effectively

·       Confidence in using IT systems for record keeping and care documentation

·       A strong understanding of best practice in residential care and of individuals’ rights and protection

·       Legal right to work in Ireland and successful Garda Vetting

·       A professional approach grounded in respect, empathy, flexibility, and initiative

·       Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

·       Proven experience working with individuals with complex support needs

·       Full clean driver’s licence required
