Role – Health & Safety Coordinator
Risk Management Ireland is a specialist consultancy providing expert advice across the built
environment. We are seeking a Health & Safety Coordinator who is detail-oriented, proactive, and
keen to grow within a supportive and dynamic team. This role blends office, home, and field-based
work, supporting clients across diverse industries with risk assessments, compliance, and training.
You’ll have opportunities to expand your knowledge in fire safety, health & safety compliance, and
facilities management, with clear paths for career progression and professional development.
The ideal candidate will bring:
A recognised qualification in Health & Safety or Fire Risk Assessment (minimum QQI Level 7).
At least 2 years’ experience in a relevant health & safety role—ideally within a consultancy
or multi-site advisory environment.
A genuine interest in health, safety, and continuous learning.
Additional qualifications (e.g., instructor training, CAD, etc.) and professional memberships
(IOSH, IFE) are a strong advantage.
Conduct on-site risk assessments and audits, delivering high-quality safety advice and
reports.
Develop and review Safety Statements, Policies, Building Emergency Plans, and other client-
specific documentation.
Deliver training sessions such as Manual Handling, Fire Warden, DSE assessments, etc.
Support clients with fire drills, producing gap analyses and action plans.
Collaborate with facilities management teams to ensure operational compliance.
Provide field-based support across diverse sectors, engaging with multiple stakeholders.
Stay updated with relevant legislation, trends, and industry best practices.
Contribute to business development and client growth initiatives.
Strong working knowledge of H&S legislation and practical implementation in varied
environments.
Experience developing or managing Health & Safety Management Systems.
The ability to work independently while supporting a wider team.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
Safety training delivery qualification (QQI Level 6 or equivalent) is a plus.

Full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Must have the legal right to work in Ireland.
Willingness to travel as needed.
CAD experience beneficial but not required.
Membership or willingness to join bodies like IOSH or IFE, with a view to obtaining
Chartership.
