Job Purpose:

The Pitstop Mechanic/Tyre Fitter is responsible to for all correct tyre fitting on customer vehicles and supporting Mechanics

.

Key Tasks Required:

• Repairing and replacing customer's tires as needed - Tire Fitter
• Repairing mechanical aspects of the motor vehicle - Pitstop Mechanic
• Replacing wheels using the torque wrench to achieve final tightening of wheel nuts
• Undertaking full inspection before hand-over to customer
• Supporting Mechanic's in Exhaust Fitting, Light Car servicing e.g. Bulbs, wipers etc....
• Using materials, parts and equipment in an efficient manner
• Full compliance with all safety procedures/truck operations essential safety steps
• Ensuring own vehicle is kept clean, with adequate stock and is serviced when necessary
• Adhering fully to the Company's operations manual
• Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and customers
• Understand and adhere to all the Company policies and procedures/operations manual

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
• Must have some level of tire experience
• Driving Licence essential
