Job Description:

Capita Customer Solutions are working in partnership with our highly regarded client to recruit a Collections Specialist to join our team on a full time permanent basis.

This role is a work from home role, however we would love to hear from you if you are based in Carlow!  

What you will do:

As a Collections Specialist, you will be supporting a well-known utilities supplier, providing a fantastic customer experience on all interactions, leaving a lasting impression. You will be supported with extensive initial onsite training, so that we can help you build the knowledge and skills required to work from home with confidence.

You will:

• Present customers with appropriate options to facilitate debt reduction & achievement of targets

• Work with customers in an empathetic and professional manner to understand their circumstances and to assist them in their effort to settle outstanding accounts

• Resolve any challenges on the call, make every effort to resolve queries on first touch, document and update systems appropriately.

• Be an ambassador for the client’s brand

• Make informed decisions in a timely manner

• Perform all duties in line with the expected standard of Quality

Your experience and attributes will include:

• Previous experience working in similar environment is ideal

• Excellent work ethic & confident phone manner essential

• Ability to deal with all calls positively & professionally

• Excellent organisational skills.

• Experience of working to & performing against set targets

• Strong negotiating & influencing skills

• Strong PC skills – MS office/data entry experience
