We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interim Group Financial Controller to join a leading company on an FTC of 15 months. As an Interim Financial Controller, you will play a vital role in managing the financial operations and be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and financial stability.
This is a critical leadership role that requires strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the organization's financial success.
Role Overview:
Oversee and manage the day-to-day financial activities of the company.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Monitor financial performance, providing insightful reports and recommendations to senior management.
Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk.
Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Conduct financial analysis, including cost analysis, variance analysis, and profitability analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support decision-making and optimize business performance.
Manage the company's cash flow, working capital, and financial investments.
Coordinate the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
Your Profile:
You will be a qualified accountant will have previous experience in a senior finance leadership role and have demonstrated experience in overseeing the financial operations of a company, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis and proven ability to foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
