We’re currently hiring Vehicle Inspectors to join our National Car Testing Centres across Ireland.
These are permanent positions with varied shift patterns depending on the needs of each centre.

Role:

As a Vehicle Inspector, you will carry out vehicle testing efficiently and to the highest standards,
delivering a professional and customer-focused service. You will also support the smooth day-to-day
operation of the Test Centre. The role reports to the local Test Centre Manager and/or Regional
Manager.

Key Accountabilities:

 Conduct vehicle inspections in line with standard testing procedures
 Provide clear information to customers regarding test processes and results
 Accurately maintain testing records and complete all required administration (including PC-
based systems)
 Process customer payments and handle confidential information responsibly
 Deliver a friendly, efficient, and professional customer experience
 Maintain high standards of personal presentation and contribute to overall Test Centre
upkeep
 Work closely with call centre teams to support customer needs
 Ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently met
 Carry out general housekeeping duties within the Test Centre
 Support VRT (Vehicle Registration Tax) administration where required
 Respond to and resolve customer queries effectively
 Undertake additional duties as required to support Test Centre operations

Qualifications/Experience/Competencies Required:

 Fully trained in Vehicle Inspection and Customer Care
 Dept. of Education and Science Motor Trade Certificate or National Craft Certificate or
equivalent to level 6 as certified by FETAC
 Full, clean driving licence
 Customer Service and strong communication skills
 Demonstrated management or supervisory experience
 Willingness to travel
 Ability to operate as an effective member of a team
