Job Description:
This post will focus on using experimental and behavioural economic methods to assess the acceptability of carbon markets among dairy farmers and citizens. In addition, stakeholder workshops will be conducted to influence the research design, and living labs will be established to assess practical aspects and functioning of carbon markets along the dairy supply chain.
Duties:
- Experimental design
- Data collection and analysis
- Organisation of living labs
- Write-up and presentation of research findings
- Participation/organisation of research group /stakeholder meetings
- Data management
Qualifications/Skills required:
Essential Requirements:
- PhD in Agricultural Economics, Economics, Psychology or related discipline
- Knowledge of experimental / behavioural economics
- Evidence of research activity (publications) and/or future scholarly output (working papers, etc.)
- An understanding of the operational requirements for a successful research project
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience in the design of experimental auctions
- Good understanding of the agricultural sector and climate change
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation, etc.)
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills including a proven ability to work to deadlines
