{"id":6811,"date":"2025-05-02T12:48:20","date_gmt":"2025-05-02T12:48:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.recruit.ie\/careers\/?p=6811"},"modified":"2025-05-02T16:33:38","modified_gmt":"2025-05-02T16:33:38","slug":"moroccos-progress-in-digital-transformation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.recruit.ie\/careers\/moroccos-progress-in-digital-transformation\/","title":{"rendered":"Morocco\u2019s Progress in Digital Transformation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"\" data-start=\"270\" data-end=\"557\">Morocco&#8217;s advancements in digital transformation took centre stage at the regional congress <em data-start=\"396\" data-end=\"463\">\u201cTowards a Digitally Accessible Arab Region \u2013 ICTs for All 2025,\u201d<\/em> where stakeholders from across the Arab world gathered to discuss inclusive digital progress.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"559\" data-end=\"848\">Representing Morocco, Safaa El Alaoui, Head of the Universal Digital Access Service at the Moroccan Digital Development Agency (ADD), presented the Kingdom\u2019s ambitious digital roadmap and its ongoing efforts to promote universal digital access and public sector innovation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"850\" data-end=\"1209\">Held in Amman, the event was co-organized by Jordan\u2019s Telecommunications Regulatory Commission, in collaboration with the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). It served as a regional platform to exchange strategies and successes in advancing digital accessibility for all.<\/p>\n<h6 data-start=\"1211\" data-end=\"1247\">Driving Morocco\u2019s Digital Future<\/h6>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1249\" data-end=\"1409\">El Alaoui outlined Morocco\u2019s strategic priorities under the \u201cMorocco Digital 2030\u201d agenda, launched in September 2024. This national digital vision aims to:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1410\" data-end=\"1608\">\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1410\" data-end=\"1446\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1412\" data-end=\"1446\">Strengthen the digital economy<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1447\" data-end=\"1497\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1449\" data-end=\"1497\">Foster local innovation and entrepreneurship<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1498\" data-end=\"1555\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1500\" data-end=\"1555\">Generate employment through tech-driven initiatives<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1556\" data-end=\"1608\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1558\" data-end=\"1608\">Accelerate the digitization of public services<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1610\" data-end=\"1854\">She emphasized that Morocco is positioning itself as a regional leader in digital inclusion, with special focus on interoperability, citizen-centric services, and equitable digital access, particularly for vulnerable populations.<\/p>\n<h6 data-start=\"1856\" data-end=\"1900\">Key Pillars of Morocco&#8217;s Digital Roadmap<\/h6>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1902\" data-end=\"1967\">The ADD&#8217;s approach is grounded in several transformative pillars:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1968\" data-end=\"2208\">\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1968\" data-end=\"2026\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1970\" data-end=\"2026\">Modernizing public administration and infrastructure<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2027\" data-end=\"2082\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2029\" data-end=\"2082\">Enhancing user experience across digital services<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2083\" data-end=\"2151\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2085\" data-end=\"2151\">Expanding access to digital tools and services in remote areas<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2152\" data-end=\"2208\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2154\" data-end=\"2208\">Promoting widespread digital literacy and adoption<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2210\" data-end=\"2422\">El Alaoui also highlighted the importance of cross-sector collaboration and public-private partnerships to ensure the sustainability of Morocco\u2019s digital ecosystem and to align with global best practices.<\/p>\n<h6 data-start=\"2424\" data-end=\"2481\">Regional Cooperation for a Digitally Inclusive Future<\/h6>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2483\" data-end=\"2819\">The congress underscored the importance of regional cooperation to bridge the digital divide across the Arab world.
