The fund will support up to five projects or organisations over three years, with a specific focus on the Dublin and Cork regions.<\/p>\n<h6 data-start=\"573\" data-end=\"628\">Tackling Employment Barriers for Young Adults<\/h6>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"629\" data-end=\"818\">The Empower Tech Futures Fund aims to reduce disparities in employment access by scaling the impact of organisations working with young people facing multiple barriers, including:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"819\" data-end=\"1024\">\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"819\" data-end=\"873\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"821\" data-end=\"873\">Limited career awareness and job opportunities<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"874\" data-end=\"940\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"876\" data-end=\"940\">Lack of technical and digital skills required by employers<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"941\" data-end=\"1024\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"943\" data-end=\"1024\">Insufficient social networks and support systems to thrive in the workplace<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1026\" data-end=\"1242\">By funding initiatives that provide career guidance, coaching, skills development, and work placements, the programme will help young adults overcome these challenges and transition into sustainable employment.<\/p>\n<h6 data-start=\"1244\" data-end=\"1273\">Funding and Support<\/h6>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1274\" data-end=\"1667\">Each of the selected projects will receive cash grants of up to \u20ac240,000, alongside a tailored package of non-financial supports, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"1274\" data-end=\"1667\">A place on Rethink Ireland\u2019s Accelerator Programme<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1274\" data-end=\"1667\">Business and capacity-building support, covering strategic planning, impact measurement, communications, and fundraising<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1274\" data-end=\"1667\">Access to Rethink Ireland\u2019s extensive networks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6 data-start=\"1669\" data-end=\"1693\">Who Can Apply?<\/h6>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1694\" data-end=\"1901\">The fund is open to organisations\/projects directly supporting young people aged 18-30 from disadvantaged areas into employment, with a strong focus on digital and technology skills in Dublin and Cork.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"1903\" data-end=\"1932\">Application Process<\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1933\" data-end=\"2106\">Interested organisations can apply online and are encouraged to attend the upcoming application clinics on 3rd April 2025 and 17th April 2025 for further guidance.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2108\" data-end=\"2339\">This initiative represents a significant investment in Ireland\u2019s future workforce, ensuring young people from disadvantaged backgrounds have the skills, support, and opportunities they need to succeed in an evolving job market.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"css-1qaijid r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0 r-poiln3\">Discover Your Dream Job on\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"css-1qaijid r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0 r-poiln3 r-1loqt21\" dir=\"ltr\" role=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/J9qNUDDZLs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><span class=\"css-1qaijid r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0 r-poiln3 r-hiw28u r-qvk6io\" aria-hidden=\"true\">http:\/\/<\/span>Recruit.ie<\/a><span class=\"css-1qaijid r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0 r-poiln3\">!
