Last weekend, Jobs Expo Dublin took place at the RDS on Saturday, 25th April (10am–4pm), bringing together thousands of jobseekers, employers, and career experts for one of Ireland’s leading in-person recruitment events.

Sponsored by Recruit.ie, the event once again highlighted strong demand for accessible, face-to-face hiring opportunities, with hundreds of live job openings showcased across multiple industries. As Ireland’s only careers exhibition offering free admission, Jobs Expo continues to play a unique role in connecting talent directly with employers.

A Busy Day of Recruitment and Career Exploration

From the moment doors opened, the RDS welcomed a steady flow of attendees exploring new opportunities, seeking career direction, and engaging directly with employers.

Across the exhibition floor, companies actively recruiting for roles in Ireland and internationally met with candidates from a wide range of professional backgrounds. The atmosphere reflected a clear shift in today’s job market: jobseekers want more direct access to employers and real conversations about their future options.

The Recruit.ie Stand: Great Conversations and Career Connections

The Recruit.ie stand was a central point throughout the day, welcoming a constant stream of visitors interested in exploring new roles, career advice, and labour market insights.

It was fantastic to meet so many people in person, ranging from recent graduates to experienced professionals considering their next move. Many conversations focused on current job opportunities, CV advice, and how candidates can position themselves more effectively in a competitive market.

Most importantly, the stand provided an opportunity to connect directly with jobseekers, understand their goals, and offer guidance on next steps in their career journey.
