Alkermes is seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer for equipment and utilities within the Site Maintenance department. The holder of this role will be responsible for reliability type projects including the identification and implementation of initiatives to maintain and improve the reliability of the assets on site.

Responsibilities:

·         Reporting to the Reliability Manager the candidate with support

·         Identification of focus assets through Criticality Assessments, Bad Actor Reports

·         Analysis of equipment through FMECA, and implementation of actions from assessments

·         Support current predictive technologies such as Acoustic Monitoring, Vibration Analysis Thermal Imaging etc.

·         Working with the wider maintenance team and other stakeholders as required.

·         Supports implementation and improvement of best practice of technical standards and procedures.

·         Applies scientific and engineering methods and approaches to deliver most effective solutions.

·         Consults & collaborates with broader team and trains on new methods & techniques.

·         Ensuring all work is carried out in a compliant and safe manner.

·         Supervises contractors associated with any improvement work.

·         Ensures that work is completed with minimal disruption and is fully integrated into operational areas.

·         Manages execution of assigned tasks and hold self accountable for compliant and high-quality execution.

·         Keeps up to date with industry trends and best practice

·         Presents and articulates the improvements ensuring active listening to other perspectives and viewpoints

Qualifications:

·         Fetac level 8 degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent with 2-3 years of relevant experience.

·         Experience in a similar role preferably in a GMP environment.

·         Experience and knowledge of CMMS systems preferably Maximo or PEMAC

·         Demonstrated application of scientific and engineering methods and approaches to deliver effective problem solving.

·         Demonstrated ability to act independently using good organisational skills

·         Strong leadership, collaborative and communication skills

·         Results and performance driven.
